Our nation will always remember the tragic incident happened in the year 2008 and in 2009. In October, 2008 the Earthquake struck the Ziarat valley killing hundreds, and leaving 35,000 people injured, shattered and homeless. PPA members all over Pakistan rendered an excellent service to help the people of Ziarat.
In the later month of 2009, the tragic crises of over 3 million internally displaced people of Swat and Malakand had occurred. It was the bigger disaster than the natural disaster of the Earthquake which happened in Ziarat. To help the homeless people of Swat and Malakand, PPA again took a stand and made an appeal to all the members of PPA for their generous contribution to help these internally displaced people. Members from all over Pakistan contributed generously to the Emergency relief fund accounts.
To combat such crises, PPA made separate Emergency Relief accounts. The details of account are given below:
